Immobilisers and Tracking Systems

Immobilisers

Whilst all new cars now have by law to be fitted as standard with immobilisers, it is worth making sure that your whole fleet is fully protected in this simple and cost-effective way.

An electronic immobiliser is a security device to prevent thieves from stealing a vehicle even if they gain entry and is usually part of the engine control unit (ECU) which prevents the vehicle from starting unless it recognises signals from a transponder in the key.

Tracking Systems

Stolen vehicle recovery systems work like an electronic homing device. A covert transmitter is hidden discreetly in one of several places around your vehicle. There is no visible aerial or other identifying feature so the thief can't see it and won't know it's there.
